The Mumbil Blackwattle Fair is an annual event held every January.
Each autumn as the grape harvesting season gives way to the olive picking, Broke Fordwich hold their annual festival of food, wine, olives, music, dancing and celebration of all things Italian. March/April 2012 is the time as the event spreads all around the Broke Fordwich area of the Hunter Valley and lasts for the whole weekend.
The 5 Lands Walk is a moderately easy walk that follows the spectacular Central Coast coastline for nine kilometres from MacMasters Beach to Terrigal and includes free cultural and fun events near the Surf Clubs at each of the beaches including Copacabana, Avoca and North Avoca.
