Any social media sections of our Main Site will be either clear to you from their design, or we will otherwise inform you of their public nature. Any information or content you supply to our Social Media Site(s) will be treated by CIL Insurance in accordance with terms 7, 23 and 25, and otherwise in accordance with these Online Terms (as relevant).

Our Mobile Site is designed for use by portable electronic devices such as smart phones or tablet computers. CIL Insurance disclaims that our Mobile Site may not operate (or may not operate fully) on some types of portable electronic devices. 2.4 CIL Insurance is not authorising the reproduction of Third Party Material by linking Site Content to Third Party Material.

3. Your privacy
3.1 Your privacy and security is important to CIL Insurance. Read terms 22 to 30 for information (the 'Privacy Statement' component) about how CIL Insurance handles the information you provide it when you use one of our Online Sites.
4. CIL Insurance's Main Site: product information and insurance quote requests / CIL iClaim Assist
4.1. Main Site content
The CIL Insurance Main Site contains both information of a general nature about CIL Insurance and CIL Insurance's products and services, and also enables you to request certain insurance quotes online. The Main Site also allows you to separately contact CIL Insurance with a general query.
4.2 Completing insurance quote requests on the Main Site
4.2.1 An insurance quote request ("Quote Request") by you via the Main Site does not constitute a contract of insurance between you and CIL Insurance. Once a Quote Request is received by CIL Insurance's customer service centre, a CIL Insurance representative will contact you to discuss your insurance needs. An offer of insurance may then be provided by CIL Insurance however such an offer remains subject to (1) acceptance by you and (2) CIL Insurance's receipt of the required premium, prior to any insurance cover being provided. CIL Insurance's representative will confirm with you how a policy purchase can be made.
4.2.2 When making a Quote Request transaction via the Main Site, the transaction will not be completed until an "Electronic Instruction" (being any electronic instruction, information, message, request or communication issued or transmitted to CIL Insurance via the Main Site) containing the Quote Request from you has been received and processed by CIL Insurance, and any specific steps or requirements as set out in this term 4, have been complied with.
4.2.3 You acknowledge that the transmission of your Quote Request, made through an Electronic Instruction, may not be received by CIL Insurance in accordance with this term 4 for reasons beyond either parties' reasonable control including, but not limited to, mechanical, software, computer, telecommunications, or electronic failure, or the omission or failure of third party service providers or systems.
4.2.4 You further acknowledge that, to the extent permitted by law, CIL Insurance is not liable to you in any way for any loss or damage at all and however caused, arising directly or indirectly in connection with the transmission of an Electronic Instruction through the Main Site, or any failure to receive an Electronic Instruction for whatever reason.
4.3 Your Claim Manager
Your Claim Manager (which forms part of our Main Site) enables you to view and manage certain claim related information for certain CIL Insurance policy types. Please note Your Claim Manager is available for Caravan Insurance, Motorhome Insurance, Camper Trailer Insurance, 5th Wheeler Insurance, Slide On Insurance, Relocatable Home Insurance and Horse Float Insurance. The terms in this term 4.3 are relevant only to those CIL Insurance policies for which the relevant Your Claim Manager functionality is available. In addition to the remainder of these Online Terms, the specific terms in this term 4.3 apply to Your Claim Manager.
4.3.1 Accessing Your Claim Manager
22.214.171.124 Your Claim Manager is only accessible to you if you have “logged in” by providing certain details as requested by CIL Insurance on the log-in, registration and/or authentication pages of CIL Insurance, relating to you (this information is your “Login”). You will only be able to “log-in”, generate a Login, and use Your Claim Manager if you hold at least one current CIL insurance policy for which Your Claim Manager is available.
126.96.36.199 The username component of your Login will be a valid email address you select. You should select an email that only you have access to, since we may communicate with you using that address.
188.8.131.52 If you hold a policy for which Your Claim Manager is available, and that policy is held in a company, trust or similar single entity name (rather than a person’s first and surname), you will need to call CIL on 1800 177 095 to register for Your Claim Manager. We can do this for you in a few minutes, since our online registration page doesn’t currently cater for certain policy name types.
184.108.40.206 You must not provide details of your Login to any other person. You must not allow any other person to use your Login.
220.127.116.11 You must not use Your Claim Manager to access or modify the details of another person’s insurance claim without their clear authority. Criminal penalties may apply if you do so.
4.3.2 Viewing your claims in Your Claim Manager
When you register for Your Claim Manager you will be asked to nominate a current CIL insurance policy for which Your Claim Manager is available. Once you have registered, you will be able to view accessible claim records under that policy. If you hold multiple policies for which Your Claim Manager is available, you will be able to use your single Login to view accessible claims from each of those policies, so long as we have permitted your policies to be linked under the same CIL Insurance client number.
4.3.3 Permitted transactions using Your Claim Manager
During an active claim displayed within Your Claim Manager paying your claim excess or completing another permitted transaction. In the case of a claim excess payment, you must provide all valid and requested payment card information to us, and your transaction will only be complete when we receive all required payment information by way of your electronic communication to us, and that information is recorded on our relevant database.
