Argylla Tourist Park

Argylla Tourist Park has long been considered "the Oasis in the Desert", a perfect place to relax and immerse yourself in the magnificent landscapes that surround you.

Accomodation

We have a variety of fully self-contained accommodation including 2 bedroom villas, deluxe and ensuite cabins and studio rooms with all linen provided. Our powered and unpowered sites offer shade and grass with limited slab and drive-through options available.

Facilities

Our camp kitchen is a great place to meet other travellers and has a variety of cooking facilities for your convenience, as well as a large TV. The air conditioned kitchen is large and boasts a fridge, freezer, barbeque plates, stove, kettles and toasters and plenty of table and chairs. It is a great place to relax, watch television or exchange books. If you want some peace and quiet send the kids over to the playground and check on them from the camp kitchen.

We have 3 laundries spaced around the park with ample machines and ironing boards. Irons are kept at the office and are available for loan.

Our grounds are landscaped with lots of grass and shady trees.

Activities

Being on the edge of town, our park is quiet and has some great bush walks close by. Climb to the top of the nearby hill and be rewarded by 360 degree views of Mount Isa and the surrounding countryside.

Take a dip in our sparkling pool or send the kids to work off some energy in the playground after a long day's drive. Our large salt water pool is partly shaded by sails. It has shady trees to lounge under and a grassy area for the kids to run around in. The pool is open until 9 pm. The childrens playground consists of swings, slippery slide and a jungle gym. It is a short walk from the powered sites to the playground and it is easy to keep an eye on the kids from the camp kitchen.

Family Fun

In peak season we have a Bush Poet and live entertainment around a camp fire. Everyone is welcome, come along and enjoy.
